How it works

Initial Consultation
The journey begins with a one-hour initial consultation. During this appointment, our Specialist Orthodontist will examine your teeth and discuss potential treatment options tailored to your needs. You’ll receive a customized treatment plan to review, and our Treatment Coordinator will be available to answer any questions.

Orthodontic Records
Once you decide to proceed with the recommended treatment, we’ll take detailed orthodontic records. This includes a 3D digital scan using our iTero Scanner, photographs of your face and teeth, and necessary x-rays.

X-Rays and Dental Photography
We use two types of x-rays:
-
Cephalogram: Taken from the side of the skull to assess growth development and jaw structure.
-
Panoramic X-ray: Scans the entire mouth to show the development of teeth, including any missing, extra, or impacted teeth.
Dental photos help us analyze your facial proportions and current teeth positions.

Digital Impressions: A Modern Approach to Orthodontic Care

Say Goodbye to Putty Impressions

Gone are the days of biting down on sticky putty-filled trays for dental impressions. At our clinic, we use advanced digital impressions to provide a comfortable and precise orthodontic experience.

Why Impressions Matter

Impressions are essential for creating a customized treatment plan. They allow us to map out your unique dental structure and monitor progress throughout your orthodontic journey.

The Digital Advantage

Using an intraoral scanner, we capture detailed images and measurements of your teeth in minutes. This technology ensures a precise fit for braces or aligners and eliminates discomfort. The three-dimensional images are stored digitally, allowing for easy reference and adjustments during your treatment.

Experience the Future of Orthodontics

With digital impressions, you receive high-quality, customized care without the hassle of traditional methods. Schedule your consultation today to learn more about how we can transform your smile with cutting-edge technology.
Dental Review Appointment

After reviewing your dental records, we’ll invite you back for a review appointment. Here, our orthodontists will fully explain your treatment plan and address any remaining questions. Approved treatment can begin with the scheduling of future appointments.

Orthodontic Fittings and Adjustments

Your orthodontic appliances will be fitted at this stage. For braces, this involves bonding brackets to your teeth. For Invisalign®, you’ll receive your first sets of aligners. Regular check-ups every 6-10 weeks are essential for adjustments and monitoring progress.

Scheduling Appointments

We understand that fitting appointments into your busy schedule can be challenging. Initial appointments may need to be during work or school hours, but subsequent adjustment appointments are typically shorter and more flexible. We strive to accommodate your schedule while ensuring timely and effective treatment.
